Snapshot of Your Day

As an Operational Buyer, you’ll play a key role in keeping our supply chain running smoothly. You’ll handle day-to-day purchasing activities — making sure the right goods, materials, and services are ordered on time, at the right quality, and for the best value.

You’ll process incoming customer requests efficiently and accurately, always aiming to meet agreed timelines and quality standards. Your focus on reliability and service will help ensure high satisfaction among internal customers and continuity of supply across the business.

How You'll Make an Impact
  • Create and release purchase orders based on incoming requests, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business needs.
  • Manage purchase orders end-to-end — track deliveries, follow up with suppliers, and make sure materials arrive on time and at the best cost.
  • Communicate proactively with suppliers about order details and delivery schedules, escalating potential risks or delays to relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitor supplier performance in terms of delivery and quality, addressing issues and supporting continuous improvement where needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date supplier master data, ensuring the integrity of purchasing information.
  • Support process optimization initiatives (e.g., order bundling, MOQ optimization) and contribute to ongoing improvements in efficiency and quality.
What You Bring
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, engineering, and/or operations, manufacturing functions.
  • English language - advanced level; Intercultural mindset and adapting to country-specific particularities.
  • Previous experience working with ERP systems (such as SAP or similar) in a purchasing or supply chain environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • A minimum of an apprenticeship degree in technical or other education.
