A Snapshot of Your Day


As an Operational Buyer, you will execute operational purchasing processes. The Buyer purchases goods, materials, and services to ensure that the operational needs are met (considering price, quality, on-time delivery) as well as continuity of supply. Processes incoming customer requests (workflow transactions, purchase requisitions, email requests, etc.) ensuring agreed cycle time and quality standards while maintaining high customer/user satisfaction.  


How you'll make an impact

  • Processes purchase requests by creating and releasing purchase orders to suppliers. Purchase order management, including tracking/expediting to ensure a cost-efficient supply of materials in accordance with demand 
  • Ensures items are delivered on time and expedited where necessary. Communicates with suppliers concerning order-related items, such as delivery dates, and escalates risks to relevant stakeholders. Communicates efficiently and professionally with internal and external stakeholders 
  • Monitors supplier delivery and quality performance. Escalates findings to relevant stakeholders and addresses performance issues with suppliers as necessary 
  • Maintains and updates supplier master data to ensure that the database accurate and up-to-date. Negotiates prices and payment terms (low-threshold transactions) 
  • Demonstrates strong customer focus by handling requests in a timely manner with high-quality standards 
  • Actively seeks process optimization and improvement opportunities in relevant areas (e.g. MoQ optimization, bundling of purchase orders, etc.)  

What you bring


  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, engineering, and/or operations, manufacturing functions.  
  • Strong analytical capabilities. 
  • Proficient in using procurement systems under close supervision to execute tasks and support the team's objectives.
  • Knowledge of SAP.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
