A Snapshot of Your Day
As the Operation Manager at the O&M Beni Suef power plant, you will target experienced professionals with a strong background in power plant operations management and team leadership. You will lead meaningful projects focused on optimizing plant performance, ensuring safety compliance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives, all of which are vital for the reliable generation of power in alignment with Siemens Energy’s strategic objectives. Expect to be part of a collaborative team culture that emphasizes accountability, safety, and high performance, where your leadership will significantly impact the operations team, clients, and the broader mission of sustainable energy solutions.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Direct and coordinate daily activities of the power plant operations team for safe and efficient power generation.
- Develop and implement operational plans and procedures to meet generation targets.
- Monitor KPIs and lead continuous improvement initiatives based on operational data analysis.
- Manage the operational budget, ensuring alignment with financial targets through effective forecasting and cost control.
- Collaborate with maintenance departments to plan preventive and corrective maintenance with minimal disruption.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards while promoting a proactive safety culture.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related Engineering field.
- Extensive experience (typically 8+ years) in power plant operations and maintenance.
- Proven managerial experience leading technical teams in a power generation environment.
- Strong skills in financial budgeting and continuous improvement processes.
- Comprehensive understanding of EHS regulations and safety standards in power generation.
- Excellent analytical, accountability, and risk management skills.
About the Team:
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
