A Snapshot of Your Day
The Energy Management Solution Analyst will be a pivotal role within the organization, acting as the bridge between our customers and our internal technical teams. This role supports Solution Managers and is responsible for understanding and aligning business goals with technical possibilities, guiding the discovery phases for pilots, and ensuring customer feedback is coordinated into our solution and product development roadmap. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of energy markets and will work closely with the Energy Management solution and product manager(s) to align our solutions with market needs.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers, particularly through regular engagement with regional sales teams, to understand their business objectives and technical requirements.
- Lead the discovery phases for pilot projects, ensuring that all user stories are accurately drafted and translated into technical requirements for the R&D team.
- Act as a conduit for customer feedback, systematically gathering and relaying insights to the product development teams to inform future product enhancements and innovations.
- Systematically meet customers to elicit, agree and document their requirements
- Collaborate with the EMS solution and product manager(s) to ensure that our solutions are in alignment with standardized EMS solutions and are responsive to market demands.
- Utilize extensive knowledge of energy markets to contribute to the development of strategic roadmaps, ensuring our products and solutions remain competitive and relevant.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to support the delivery of customer-centric solutions, ensuring that technical and business objectives are aligned.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to proactively suggest adjustments to our product and service offerings.
- Provide expert input at meetings with customer, including communicating details of the company’s products and solutions
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or relevant work experience. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Five years of experience developing analyses to support decision-making within energy markets or renewable energy
- Proven ability to understand and translate business needs into technical requirements and user stories.
- Strong familiarity with and experience in European and North American energy markets, including key players, regulatory environments, and emerging technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including R&D, sales, and product development, to deliver customer-focused solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Adapt to varying tasks, including technical tasks which are not part of the description above
- Actively pursue ongoing professional development and continuous learning to remain at the forefront of industry trends and best practices.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers and internal teams, including internationally.
- Strong command of the English language is essential
