A Snapshot of Your Day
You take part in kick-off meetings and have the required scope of services explained to you. Once you have received the inquiry documents, you start working on the inquiry specifications, start requirement engineering and create a list of requirements. You create request specifications for the requests to subcontractors and submit the requests to the suppliers together with the purchasing department. The incoming data from the subcontractors is compared with the request specifications. You prepare a cost calculation based on the information provided by the subcontractors and the independent assessment of our own services to be provided.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Realization of projects for ships and boats for our scope of delivery (on-board systems, propulsion and automation) worldwide in a team
- Responsibility for the timely completion of the offer, including the involvement of suppliers and customers
What You Bring
- Very good German and good English skills
- Training as a technician or completed studies in automation technology and/or electrical engineering
- Several years of experience in offer management
- Ideally experience in shipbuilding
- Knowledge of electrical drives and switchgear as well as on-board networks, gained through practical experience from engineering / commissioning activities
- Willingness to work on military projects and to be committed to the protection of classified information
