A Snapshot of Your Day
Lead the Operation & Maintenance Service team in the sub-region South America, according to defined Project Management (PM) standards and customer requirements, and with responsibility for financial results.
How You’ll Make an Impact
* Guide the O&M Service team of the sub-region for the success of the project’s implementation. Advising the Project Management and Site Management Team, even On and Off Shore perspective.
* Embrace Siemens Energy Project Management Guidelines, employing all methods to achieve project goals accurately completing Siemens Energy contracted O&M/FSM work.
* Coordinates overall planning and implementation of the O&M/FSM Projects, determines application of standard methodologies and ensures achievement of key performance indicators.
* Lead the mobilization and implementation for new contracts, ensuring that the plant is implementing the project schedule and processes, monitoring milestones and adherence to budgets, initiating actions to minimize non-conformance cost if necessary.
* Own the standardization and implementation of six sigma and continuous improvement strategy to the operation´s site, implementation of digitalization strategy into the FSM/O&M Projects and cost reduction initiatives.
* Lead the organizational growth by identifying and developing new business opportunities. Will be involved in the negotiation and planning of new projects to ensure the achievement of the project goals at an early stage. Accompanying Marketing´s team in negotiating new contracts and/or extensions.
What You Bring
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
* MBA or similar preferred.
* Minimum 10 years leading teams of Combined Cycle Power Plants
* Project Management Certification.
* English Bilingual.
* Strong communication, interpersonal skills and customer orientation.
About the Team
The O&M team is highly specialized group responsible for ensuring the efficient, reliable, and safe operation and maintenance of the sites, distributed in several locations of Argentina. This team is important for improving plant performance, minimizing downtime, and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations. Leading the success of the contract’s implementation.
Each site has a team leaded be a Site Manager and a Commercial Project Manager, supported by a group of specialized supervisors and technicians.
There´s also an international team supporting On Shore activities, leaded by the Project Manager!
