A Snapshot of your day
Your day involves performing and overseeing non-destructive inspections on large rotating equipment to ensure its reliability, safety, and compliance with technical standards, while accurately documenting and interpreting inspection results. Your day also involves coordinating with site teams and subcontractors, maintaining and calibrating inspection equipment, reviewing technical documentation and drawings, preparing inspected parts, and ensuring all regulatory and work-related records are up to date.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) inspections on large rotating equipment in line with applicable procedures, standards, and technical requirements.
- Analyze, interpret, and document inspection findings, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Provide supervision and technical guidance to subcontractor NDT personnel to ensure high-quality inspection execution.
- Calibrate, maintain, and operate inspection equipment while reviewing technical drawings, work instructions, and inspection checklists.
- Coordinate inspection activities with on-site and back-office stakeholders, including part preparation, project planning, and maintenance of regulatory and operational documentation.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, combined with hands-on experience in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT).
- Certified to ISO 9712 Level 2 in Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Penetrant Testing (PT), and Ultrasonic Testing (UT).
- Additional certifications or expertise in advanced NDT methods such as Eddy Current Testing (ET), Automated Ultrasonic Testing (AUT), or Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) are highly desirable.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant IT applications.
- A collaborative team player with the flexibility and legal eligibility to travel extensively across the Middle East and work effectively within a diverse international environment.
About the Team
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
