Snapshot of Your Day
In this role, you will take ownership of both the evolution of our Zabbix monitoring platform and the reliability of the Linux infrastructure that supports it. By combining monitoring expertise with hands-on system administration, you will help ensure the availability, performance, and security of business-critical SCADA environments. Working closely with development and infrastructure teams, you'll drive automation, enhance monitoring capabilities, and solve complex technical challenges that have a direct impact on operational excellence. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive IT professional who enjoys building reliable solutions and making a visible contribution to mission-critical systems.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Administer and optimize the Zabbix monitoring platform for SCADA and business-critical systems.
- Develop and maintain Zabbix templates, triggers, dashboards, and monitoring workflows.
- Create automation scripts using Bash to improve operational efficiency.
- Integrate new applications and infrastructure into the monitoring environment.
- Enhance monitoring coverage, alerting quality, and platform performance.
- Support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis using monitoring data.
- Administer, maintain, and patch Linux-based server infrastructure.
- Monitor system health and resolve incidents, alerts, and performance issues.
- Manage system configurations in line with security and compliance requirements.
- Support infrastructure upgrades, implementations, and capacity planning activities.
- Create and maintain technical and operational documentation.
- Ensure the availability, reliability, and stability of monitoring services.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2–5 years of experience in Linux server administration and infrastructure support.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise monitoring tools, preferably Zabbix.
- Knowledge of Linux administration, configuration management, and virtualization technologies.
- Experience with Bash scripting, automation, and SQL.
- Understanding of TCP/IP networking and network security principles.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with SCADA/OT environments, cloud infrastructure, or infrastructure automation tools is a plus.
