A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Mechanical Supervisor – Steam Turbine Field Services, you will lead and work alongside a team of skilled field service technicians on customer sites across Australia. Your day will balance hands-on mechanical execution on large steam turbines with on-site supervision, safety leadership, and customer coordination. You will play a critical role in ensuring high-quality service delivery while strengthening technical capability and knowledge continuity within the Field Service team.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead and supervise on-site steam turbine maintenance activities, ensuring safe, high-quality, and timely execution
- Provide expert hands-on mechanical guidance during maintenance, overhaul, and commissioning of large industrial steam turbines
- Ensure strict compliance with Siemens Energy policies, quality standards, and EHS requirements on-site
- Act as the primary on-site contact for customers, managing daily communication and resolving operational issues
- Coordinate closely with project managers and back-office teams to ensure effective planning, logistics, and resource utilization
- Identify and communicate potential opportunities for equipment upgrades or additional service offerings to customers
What You Bring
- Australian equivalent of Certificate III in Mechanical Fitting (minimum requirement)
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leading-hand role within field service, power generation, or heavy industry environments
- Strong hands-on expertise in the maintenance, overhaul, and commissioning of large steam turbines
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and coordinate teams in high-pressure site environments
- Solid understanding of quality control processes and safety management in field service operations
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with customers and internal stakeholders

Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
