关于职务
A Snapshot of Your Day
Join us at Siemens Energy as you embark on an exciting journey to enhance mechanical integrity assessments through innovative simulation techniques. Imagine leading the exploration of superelements to optimize baseframe modeling for gas turbine systems. You will engage in developing and validating models that significantly improve simulation efficiency while maintaining essential characteristics. Your work will directly contribute to our mission of driving energy transformation and sustainability, making a real impact in the energy sector.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- You will investigate the feasibility of replacing detailed baseframe components with superelements, enhancing modeling efficiency.
- Develop and validate superelement models for critical components, including the gearbox and generator, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Collaborate with teams to compare simulation results against Siemens Energy’s standard load cases, such as lifting and seismic analysis.
- Evaluate the accuracy, efficiency, and limitations of superelement-based modeling in both linear and nonlinear analyses, driving continuous improvement.
What You Bring
- You have a strong background in mechanical engineering or a related field, with experience in simulation tools like Dassault Simulia Abaqus.
- Proficiency in Component Mode Synthesis (CMS) techniques, such as Craig-Bampton, is essential for generating superelements.
- You possess a solid understanding of dynamic and static characteristics in mechanical systems, ensuring high-quality modeling.
- Advanced English proficiency is required to communicate effectively within our global team.
About the Team
You will be part of the Structures & Layout MIS (Mechanical Integrity Structure) department in Finspång, where our mission is to optimize mechanical integrity assessments for gas turbine systems. Our team is dedicated to innovation and collaboration, working together to push the boundaries of simulation efficiency and accuracy.
