How You Will Make an Impact

• Own the technical part of an order project. Manage the electrical system technical scope for rotating equipment packages. Centrifugal Compressor Packaging and Assembly of Large Gas Turbines
• Translate Project released Electrical Boms to RFQ’s
• Coordinate with SCM / Suppliers for Technical clarifications / Final component selection during procurement processes
• Prepare detailed engineering reports, specifications, and documentation for designs, testing protocols, and project conclusions
• Build drawings of single line diagrams, circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams and layout etc. as per project requirements
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (IEEE/IEC/ATEX), safety laws as well as environmental policies
• Supports Project Manager in Internal and External meetings and operational activities, including production planning, disposition and correction of non-conformances, and evaluation of supplier user documentation.
• Communication and teamwork both internally and externally are among the most meaningful parts of the assignment
• Supervising production technical staff as and when needed during Compressor / Gas Turbine Packaging /Assembly works
• Provide mentorship and training to junior engineers and technical staff, encouraging professional development and knowledge sharing
• Address any immediate concerns or discrepancies from customer inspectors during the inspection, collaborating with the QC team to find quick resolutions.
• Knowledge of SAP, Teamcenter & NX, other Electrical design software’s

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent experience electrical engineering.
• Minimum of 7 to 10 years of electrical engineering experience, preferably in power generation, oil refinery, or similar industrial organization.
• Strong critical thinking skills and logical problem-solving approach.
• The expectation of at least 20% travel.
• Ensure all tasks are performed in compliance with the departmental processes for technical scope control, quality, and health & safety
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot sophisticated technical issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to collaborate efficiently with multidisciplinary teams.
• Detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy and quality in work deliverables.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction, as well as part of a team.
