A Snapshot of your day
Your day involves planning and executing assigned disassembly or assembly tasks for turbine modules on-site, leading hands-on work packages, and ensuring tasks are completed accurately and safely using manual, hydraulic, and electrical tools. Additionally, you will mentor junior team members, perform critical tasks like taking precise measurements and reading engineering drawings, and provide detailed reports while adhering to EHS and quality standards.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Plan and execute assigned portions of turbine module disassembly or assembly on-site, as directed by the Senior Technical Advisor.
- Lead hands-on work for specific work packages, delegating tasks to colleagues or technicians and ensuring their proper execution.
- Utilize strong hand skills and safely operate manual, hydraulic, and electrical tools during tasks.
- Perform specialized tasks such as taking accurate measurements, completing measurement protocols, and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Mentor junior TFAs by guiding them through work tasks and supporting their development plans.
- Provide detailed job reports, including daily updates and input for mechanical reports, while strictly adhering to EHS, quality procedures, and safety regulations.
What You Bring
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or an equivalent discipline.
- Possess 2-3 years of experience in the gas turbine or related engineering field, with a background in maintenance or overhauls of gas turbines, steam turbines, compressors, or reciprocating engines being an advantage.
- Exhibit strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a self-motivated and customer-focused approach.
- Proficient in MS Office and demonstrate a good command of both written and spoken English.
- Prioritize safety, quality of work, and uphold Siemens Energy values.
- Willingness to travel for domestic and international assignments as required.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
