Legal Working Student

How You’ll Make an Impact
- Supporting the Europe General Counsel and the Western Europe General Counsel with corporate law reporting and activities
- Working with the Western Europe legal team, comprised of lawyers based in The Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland and France, and providing legal research on legal matters within these countries. I.e. research on (new) regulations in Western Europe, researching corporate governance standards and best practices across different jurisdictions and analyzing key legal and contractual risks related to the energy business.
- Working with the Holding and Finance Company by drafting corporate documentation (i.e. board resolutions and powers of attorney), research on corporate matters, assisting with M&A-transactions and more.
- Drafting, issuing, and negotiating standard legal documentation
- Proof-reading and cross-checking documentations
- Working on legal training materials for the business colleagues on legal and contractual principles
- Other ad hoc tasks as required
What you bring
- Are in the final year of your Bachelor Law degree (WO Bachelor) or Master Law degree (WO Master)
- Have an interest in Corporate and Finance Law and Commercial Contracting
- Have good digital literacy including familiarity with Microsoft office applications
- Are proactive
- Are analytical with a keen eye for detail
- Feel comfortable communicating with colleagues (engineers, finance, sales, senior management) within the business, across the country and the globe.
- Have legal curiosity, innovation, initiative, and strong collaboration skills
- Are able to work in Dutch
- Have good spoken and written English

We are committed to providing the highest ethical and quality standards for the legal advice provided by the legal team and we are looking to recruit a part time Working Student.
