A Snapshot of Your Day

In this position you will drive and manage long term service program opportunities related to new unsold and existing gas turbine installations around the world from initiation until closing of contracts in close co-operation with people across Siemens Energy’s worldwide organization. 

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Promote and market Long Term Programs towards potential customers and within the Siemens Energy organization
• Prepare cost estimates and calculations
• Prepare and develop proposals, quotations, and contracts at different stages during the sales process
• Update and maintain data about your projects in internal systems
• Clarifying concepts and customer requirements as well as ensuring and driving internal approval processes
• Act as the customers extended arm within the organization in Lincoln while leading and/or participating in customer meetings
  
  

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering and/or relevant business, financial or legal education
• Several years of experience from sales and/or other technical commercial experience of complex products, preferably gas turbines and direct customer interaction
• Strong interest in making business and understanding of customer needs
• Well-developed communication and presentation skills
• Drive, energy, persistence, enthusiasm and capability to motivate people around you
• High capability to communicate and express yourself verbally and in writing in English
  
  

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.

At Siemens Energy we offer competitive compensation and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. Due to the Austrian legal regulations, we are obliged to state the minimum salary for this position. Please note that there is a clear willingness for a higher compensation considering your individual expectations, expertise and skills. The minimum salary for this position in the collective agreement for the electrical and electronics industry is in the amount of 59.015,46 € gross/year for a full-time position (38,5 h/week).
