A Snapshot of Your Day

This internship is requested to ensure business continuity within the Strategy and Market Development team for Siemens Energy Indonesia. This role will provide essential support for ongoing strategic and market analysis activities within the Asia Pacific region. To support these objectives, this role will focus on two core areas: Market Research & Analysis to gather industry intelligence and support strategic planning, and Data Management & Presentation Support to assist in the creation of reports and materials for internal stakeholders. Given the focus on these areas, the ideal candidate will be a current university student in a relevant field such as Business, Economics, or Engineering. They should possess foundational analytical skills and proficiency with standard office software for data handling and presentation.

How You’ll Make an Impact

60% Market Research & Analysis
  • Assist in gathering and compiling data on market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior in the energy sector.
  • Support the analysis of market data to identify potential opportunities and risks.
  • Contribute to the creation of market intelligence reports and summaries for the strategy team.
  • Conduct targeted desktop research on specific industry topics as directed by senior team members.

40% Data Management & Presentation Support

  • Assist in maintaining and updating internal databases with market and competitor information.
  • Support the preparation of presentation materials, including charts, graphs, and slides for strategic meetings.
  • Help organize and structure data in spreadsheets for analysis purposes.
  • Provide administrative support for team meetings, including scheduling and preparing minutes.

What You Bring

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • No prior professional work experience is required; previous internship experience is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Experience internship in market research and data analysis is a plus
  • Proficient in MS office and Data analysis tools.
