A Snapshot of Your Day 

As our mandatory intern you will be part of a small, international, and motivated team that deals with various global quality topics, supporting daily operations and driving digitization. Your responsibilities will include supporting the digitalization of our teams’ processes, running sanity checks, and supervising changes to keep everything on course. Envision using your knack for numbers and structure to streamline processes, plan and coordinate meetings and workshops, and support us in rolling out new initiatives. Every day, you’ll collaborate with dedicated and supportive colleagues, learn new tools and methods, and play a key role in driving efficiency and innovation. Your ideas and opinions will be valued, as they help us improve our operations daily. We emphasize flexibility in terms of topics, time, and location, with your workplace being both in home office and at our modern Siemens Energy Campus in Erlangen. There, you will also engage in personal exchanges with colleagues and build connections.

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Supporting the improvement of digital processes within our quality management process landscape to increase efficiency through digitization and automation
  • Coordinating data requests and consolidation with regional and cross-functional team members, performing plausibility checks, and reporting changes
  • Creating evaluations, analyses, training materials, and presentations
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our communication strategy, for example by creating newsletters or social media posts
  • Organize workshops and meetings, create presentations, and provide support for the introduction of new processes
What You Bring
  • Currently studying in any field
  • Ideally, practical experience in an international company
  • Team player, independent, communicative, and flexible, but also creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative ways to improve existing processes
  • Good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, strong data analysis and information structuring skills 
  • Excellent written and spoken English; German language skills are an advantage
  • Passion for working with numbers and finding ways to make repetitive tasks more efficient; (initial) experience with business intelligence, AI, PowerBI, databases, or PowerApps, programming skills in Alteryx are an advantage
