A Snapshot of Your Day

As a member of the MGT Filed Service team, you will be taking part in on-site commissioning of medium-sized gas turbines from both mechanical and electrical side as well. Your tasks will include, among other things, performing the commissioning activities on the gas turbine, maintaining contact with the customer and the project team, and performing administrative and logistical tasks.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Commissioning of industrial gas turbines with generator synchronization
  • Keeping contact with customers and project management
  • Reporting, keeping up to date documentations
  • Leading field service team after certification

What You Bring 

  • Degree in Electrical or Mechanical or Mechatronics or Energy engineering (BSc or MSc)
  • Control system knowledge (PCS7 and T3000 preference)
  • Mechanical and electrical knowledge
  • High voltage knowledge is an advantage
  • English language skill (intermediate level or above)
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Flexibility - commonly the delegations are up to 10-12 weeks long
  • Self-sufficient, independent, quality-oriented personality
  • Team player mindset, excellent adaptability
  • Ability to lead, leadership skills
  • Decisiveness
  • Openness to other cultures
  • Living in Hungary (obtain Hungarian Address Card) but willing to work internationally. No need to move to Budapest
  • Valid driving license for Cat. B is required

Our engineering center of competence in Budapest consists of more than 130 qualified engineers who provide high value-added services in the areas of control technology, electrical and mechanical engineering, and now also in support of sales and project coordination processes.

Gas Services

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
