Join Siemens Energy / Aeroderivative Gas Turbines Department as Industrial Cybersecurity Officer. This is a senior role, at the forefront of our business and with great growth potential to become a team leadership position, for a the right candidate.
This role will enhance the cybersecurity resilience of the Aeroderivative Gas Turbines (AGT) product portfolio, ensuring business continuity. As part of AGT’s Product Lifecycle's Service and New Unit team, the Industrial Cybersecurity Officer will help establish and drive the cybersecurity strategy across the entire product lifecycle. 
The position covers three core areas: Cybersecurity Strategy & Governance, Secure Product Lifecycle Management, and Technical Security Assurance. These pillars encompass developing strategic roadmaps, embedding security-by-design principles into development processes, and executing technical risk assessments and vulnerability management. 

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Develop and implement the cybersecurity strategy, so that our products and services are robust against emerging threats, safeguarding business continuity and customer trust.
  • Embed Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) into product development, reducing vulnerabilities and enhancing the overall security of our offerings.
  • Lead Risk Management Initiatives through Threat & Risk Assessments (TRAs) ensuring that our products meet the highest security compliance standards.
  • Build a network of cybersecurity experts and promote a culture of security awareness and best practices across the organization.
  • Translate market trends and regulatory requirements into actionable insights and enable the AGT to stay ahead of the curve.

What You Bring

To excel in this role, you will bring a combination of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong interpersonal skills:

  • A minimum of 8 years in Industrial/OT cybersecurity roles, with a track record in secure product development and risk management 
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Electrical/Automation Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • The ability to influence cross-functional teams, foster collaboration, and effectively communicate complex cybersecurity concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess risks and develop strategic roadmaps that align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, GICSP, and IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Expert/Specialist 
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity standards such as IEC 62443 and ISO 27001, with proven experience in implementing these standards within product organizations
  • Expertise in Secure Development Lifecycles (SDL/DevSecOps), Threat & Risk Assessments (TRA), and Vulnerability Management, and a solid understanding of Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and OT architecture.
  • Interested in connecting with the team and networking, with 3 days/week in the office and travel up to 10% of the time

The Aero Derivative Gas Turbine (AGT) Product Life Cycle Team drives and governs key AGT cross product strategic initiatives including AGT product portfolio management, business development and technical services.
