A Snapshot of Your Day
Imagine stepping into a dynamic role where you organize and participate in crucial alignment meetings, both internally and externally, during the execution phase of large power plant projects. You take charge of selecting, ordering, and tracking substantial spare parts packages, ensuring a seamless handover to project management teams. Your day involves screening project specifications to guarantee contract-compliant spare implementation for New and Service Projects. You’ll be in close contact with your colleagues, exchanging project experiences and sharing best practices, all while contributing to the energy industry’s transformation.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- You will lead the successful and timely processing of initial spare parts for power plant equipment within New Unit and Service contracts.
- Clarify the contractual scope of delivery and align spare parts packages based on technical recommendations.
- Initiate orders to suppliers via SAP, collaborating with the purchasing department to ensure proper order and delivery tracking.
- Manage project controlling, coordinating interfaces, deadlines, and services with partners and customers.
- Support projects with spare parts during the warranty period, working in international teams for large power plant projects worldwide.
What You Bring
- A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical background, with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
- Experience in project or proposal management within the power generation business.
- A keen interest in enhancing productivity, energy efficiency, and supporting the energy transition journey.
- Strong organizational skills, openness to diverse opinions, and the ability to collaborate efficiently.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Windows, MS Office, with SAP knowledge as a plus.
- Fluent in English; German proficiency is a bonus.

These packages are vital for risk provisioning during commissioning and ensuring plant availability during the warranty phase.
