A Snapshot of Your Day 

In this role you will plan and support the Mechanical Commissioning activities for Industrial Steam Turbine projects. You will coordinate all necessary activities with the responsible internal & external partners to resolve the commissioning problems & warranty claims. You will handle the site PCM and provide back-office technical support to internal and external mechanical commissioning engineers. In this role you will handle the resource planning & coordination of staff in collaboration with Project Manager.


How You’ll Make an Impact 

  • Ensure high standards during site erection & commissioning phase and improve customer satisfaction (NPS)
  • Ensure qualified and in time staffing of the site staff, providing them with technical back-office support
  • Contribute to the economic success of the project by providing in time support and resolving site technical issues during warranty phase 
  • Work closely with the General Project Manager in actively defending claim and assist him in resolution of customer issues

What You Bring

  • Fluent in German and English
  • Completed studies in mechanical engineering or equivalent
  • Longstanding years of experience in the power generation / industrial steam turbine business with focus on mechanical commissioning of Industrial Steam Turbines
  • Advanced knowledge of steam turbine projects site erection and commissioning methodology and technical know-how
  • Experience in project execution of different types of power plants in project/site teams or equivalent site management experience as Lead mechanical commissioning engineer or site manager
  • Commercial awareness and familiarization with SE tools (SAP -ATLAS, MS Project; MS Office etc.) 
  • Willingness to travel (25%)
