Do you want to be a part of the world’s energy transition? As part of our team, your responsibility will be to develop a customer-adapted solutions for the control equipment in power generation plants.
Currently, future energy systems are developing at a rapid pace and our department is seeking solutions for the tougher demands that our customers face when trying to operate their plants more effectively. These include smaller grid tolerances, operating with renewable fuel and other innovative solutions.
As a I&C technical project leader (f/m/d), you master interesting technical challenges, coordinate the project team and work closely with the project management. Across all project phases, from supporting those responsible for the offers all the way to handing over the project to aftersales, you will work together with our customers to shape the energy transition towards greater sustainability.
Part of your job will be to track progress and costs in the project. At the end of projects you will share valuable feedback and lessons learned with the sales and the concept & innovation team in order to increase the overall standard, quality, and competitiveness of Siemens Energy.

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Taking part in project delivery 
  • Being responsible for the planning and coordination of internal and external partners (suppliers, manufacturing, international engineering, etc.), as well as our customers
  • Handling of all project phases, including regular monitoring of the project for deviations (costs, deadlines, quality) in close coordination with the project management
  • Providing technical support for testing, commissioning, and service of control systems
  • Suggesting and developing improvements to standard solutions and ordering execution processes
  • Continuously developing your own knowledge and skills and helping others to grow and develop

What You Bring
  • An engineering degree with a focus on I&C Automation 
  • Several years of professional experience in I&C engineering, preferably with SPPA-T3000
  • Expert knowledge regarding planning of basic process control system & safety-related system; experience in implementation of IEC 61511
  • English-language skills
  • Communication and coordination skills required to work in an international project team
  • Willingness to travel worldwide with up to 30% of time away from home per year away

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
