A Snapshot of Your Day 

You will lead the Value Center for Manufacturing, and act as DC/IT Partner for the respective Global Process Owner and for all key IT topics of this function. Within this role, you will create, align and implement the IT service landscape over the complete lifecycle, from planning through implementation and operations until shutdown. 

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • You are responsible to drive the strategic direction and the further development of the continuously growing Value Center Manufacturing, a Value Center with 5 Mio Euro operations budget and 15 Mio Euro project budget
  • You manage a team of three managers and overall close to 40 internal employees, soon above 50, located in three main countries (e.g. Germany, Romania, Mexico) and a strong external workforce with strategic platform suppliers like SAP, ServiceNow, AWS and strategic partners like Accenture 
  • You develop the strategic direction (DC/IT Strategy, DC/IT Architecture, DC/IT Roadmap) in the business capability of Manufacturing together with the Global Process Owners and the Business Areas 
  • You host the Business Alignment Board for Manufacturing together with the Global Process Owner and representatives from all Business Areas as key element for alignment between Business and IT. 
  • You strongly align with all key collaborators in the Business areas and DC/IT, ensuring close alignment between all key stakeholders in Business and IT and ensure that your Portfolio of Projects is accurately prioritized and provides insights into its Business Value, and is in sync with IT Strategic Direction and executed according to Budget, Quality and Time
  • You develop a balanced Strategic Workforce Planning for your internal as well as your external workforce and build positive relationships with your key suppliers, acting within the overall Supplier Framework
  • You make sure that you leverage standards for DC/IT internal processes and tools, like ServiceNow
  • You craft the Communication & Change Management approach for your Value Center with specific focus on your User Community as well as your own Employees
  • You set-up best practice sharing with other industry leading companies for topics related to the assigned business capabilities to gain outside-in perspectives and ignite impactful changes to your area of responsibility 
What You Bring
  • We look forward getting to know you if you successfully completed University studies or a comparable education
  • You have professional experience (at least 3 years) as a Line Manager, ideally already as a Leader of Managers
  • You have a longstanding (at least 3 years, better 5 years) professional and in-depth experience with significant knowledge in the area of Manufacturing, really understanding how successful Manufacturing sites are operating in an automated, digitalized environment in industries with leading Manufacturing expertise
  • You have specific experiences in major core domains of IT like: IT Strategy & Architecture, Project Management, Vendor Management, Change Management, Data Analytics, Financial Management
  • You are a modern and innovative digital problem solver with a strong bias towards transformation as well as a valued sparring partner for our key Stakeholder in Manufacturing across the globe
  • Besides, you are an excellent networker with experiences guiding international teams, and taking business stakeholder along with you on this journey
  • You like to be part of a bigger team within Application Platform Business (APB), within Digital Core (DC), within SE overall and live the SE Values and Leadership Essentials
  • As you act in an international environment, with main stakeholders in Germany, you can communicate fluently in English and German
  • Your profile is rounded off by sound strategic, entrepreneurial, and analytical skills as well as the ability to execute
