A Snapshot of Your Day 

As Head of System Integration Testing for the T3000 and T2000 control systems, you are responsible for a key function dedicated to the optimization and continuous advancement of our automation solutions. Your day typically begins with the analysis of test reports and close coordination with your team to ensure that all testing activities are executed efficiently and in accordance with defined standards.
Through this role, you make a direct and substantial contribution to the quality of our products, thereby strengthening the organization and enabling our customers to achieve maximum energy efficiency. Within a dynamic and supportive team environment, we actively foster innovation and collaboration in pursuit of Siemens Energy’s mission to shape a sustainable energy future.

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Disciplinary leadership and professional development of a highly qualified testing organization (approx. 35 employees)
  • Planning, execution, and monitoring of all testing activities for the T3000 and T2000 control systems
  • Implementation of best practices and continuous improvement initiatives within the testing function
  • Promotion of a positive and performance-oriented team culture through structured feedback and training measures
  • Cross-functional collaboration with internal departments to ensure product quality and operational safety
  • Strategic co-design and alignment of the testing strategy with overarching corporate objectives
What You Bring
  • Completed university degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of leadership experience in test management, preferably within automation system environments
  • In-depth knowledge of testing methods, tools, and processes, including ISTQB certification and test automation expertise
  • Strong understanding of software development models, including Waterfall and Agile methodologies (especially SAFe)
  • Excellent communication and leadership competencies; pfluency in German and working‑level English skills are expected
  • High level of motivation for continuous professional development and adaptation to new technologies 
About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
