A Snapshot of Your Day

As Head of PMO, you will lead large-scale supplier development and qualification initiatives by integrating critical cross-functional workstreams to ensure successful execution. This role is accountable for driving structured planning across supplier qualification, capacity expansion, and operational readiness while maintaining alignment, transparency, and execution discipline across internal and external stakeholders.

This role operates within a collaborative office environment and requires sufficient travel to suppliers and partner locations. Schedule flexibility may be required during critical phases of project qualification or program execution.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Lead large-scale extended workbench development and qualification programs in support of strategic business priorities and long-term operational readiness.
  • Develop and govern integrated project plans that align all critical workstreams required for successful supplier qualification and program execution.
  • Direct cross-functional coordination across capacity expansion, manufacturing readiness, quality, procurement, engineering, and operations to deliver qualification milestones on schedule.
  • Active engagement with in-country supplier selection and part qualification activities to ensure alignment with technical, commercial, and operational requirements.
  • Drive disciplined execution of qualification plans by actively managing risks, dependencies, deliverables, and escalation pathways across participating teams.
  • Establish program governance, reporting, and stakeholder communication routines that provide clear visibility into progress, key issues, and decision points.
  • Partner across internal and external stakeholder groups to remove barriers, resolve issues, and sustain momentum across complex supplier development initiatives.
  • Provide leadership with strategic updates and recommendations on qualification status, supplier readiness, capacity progress, and overall program health.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing and project management, including new product introduction, supplier qualification, or large-scale expansion initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience in supplier development, operations, procurement, product development, or order management.
  • Proven leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities in complex, cross-functional environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to senior leadership.
  • Proficiency with project management and business tools, including Microsoft Project and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
  • Candidates with more experience can be considered for a higher level or vice versa.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

About the Team  

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
