A Snapshot of Your Day

For our Transformers factory in Trento, we are looking for a Head of Medium Power Transformer Test Field to join our team. In this role you will play a pivotal role within the organization in planning, developing, and directing the testing of the power transformers. You will execute according to the Company’s goals and current regulations and provide the necessary resources. You will ensure and develop your team’s specialist knowledge and contribute to the development of business processes.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Lead and coordinate the test department’s operations, planning and implementing power transformer tests to meet company goals and regulations.
• Manage logistics for testing, including equipment certification, maintenance, upgrades, and procurement of new tools.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards, delivering timely and accurate transformer tests.
• Analyze test issues, conduct investigations, collaborate with engineering, and report findings to management.
• Drive continuous improvement and digitalization of the Test Field, proactively managing investment plans and maintenance.
• Communicate clearly with customers, providing support and troubleshooting for test results and investigations.

What You Bring 

• Academic background in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Significant professional experience (5+ years) in testing high-voltage electrical equipment, especially power transformers.
• Proven expertise in product testing heavy electrical manufacturing environments, including circuit breakers, bushings, and electric power testing equipment.
• You bring strong leadership skills, a collaborative approach, and a relentless dedication to customer satisfaction and meeting deadlines.
• Proficient in written and spoken English is mandatory, Italian knowldge at a business level is required. Additional language skills are a plus.
