A Snapshot of Your Day
As a HVDC C&P Integration and Test Process Engineer, you will be the key player in the execution and improvement of our Control and Protection software process. You will manage the comprehensive software engineering process, from requirements to testing, on a daily basis. This role demands close interaction with the C&P Integration and Test leads and their project teams in the test field to understand their tasks and transform them into standard activities and processes.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Drive and streamline the Control and Protection software process improvement initiatives, spanning from requirements engineering to the software engineering and development process (known as Integration Flow Management)
- Support Project Lead Integration & Test Leads in establishing and enhancing their project activity planning and tracking procedures using digital tools like GIT.
- Conduct regular reviews of software engineering schedules with Project Lead Integration & Test Leads, aiding them in keeping up-to-date schedules, coordinating activities across projects, and monitoring planned vs actual timelines.
- Promote digitization throughout the entire software engineering cycle (requirements, IFM, and testing).
- Oversee the maintenance of the integration testing database utilized by the Project Lead I&Ts during the software development process.
What You Bring
- Completed Master’s degree/ Student of last year of Master' degree with electrical engineering, automation engineering or software engineering/computer science.
- First professional experience in complex team-work environment.
- Initial experience in the context of interfaces between the areas of engineering and manufacturing is an advantage.
- Extensive knowledge in dealing with MS Project, Power App, Office 365 applications
- Business fluent communication in English, German language skills preferable
- Intercultural competence, strong communication, analytical and organizational skills, resilience, ability to find creative solutions for complex tasks.
