A Snapshot of Your Day
You start your day checking the status of the projects you are responsible for. Next you meet up with any customers on-site and escort them out to the factory to see their equipment. You may have customer meetings to prepare for and to report out in. You can then work on some of your customer repair reports.
How You’ll Make an Impact
• Direct and coordinate all activities for on-time delivery of generator service projects, including major sub-components and full generator replacements.
• Collaborate with Tendering and Gas Services counterparts to clarify technical requirements and resource needs for order fulfillment.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for both internal and external customers regarding project-related matters.
• Support the SEI GS SV Project Manager in customer meetings and facilitate Customer Witness activities as needed.
• Respond to quotation requests, assist in negotiations for additional scope, and manage Extra Work Requests and change orders.
• Monitor and report on project performance, including financial status and risk mitigation, while ensuring compliance with order requirements and cost targets.
What You Bring
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or non-technical degree with 8+ years of related experience may be considered.
• 8+ years of experience in Project Management or Generator Product or Manufacturing.
• 3-5 years of MS Project (or equivalent) experience required.
• PM@Siemens or PMI Certified (preferred).
• 8-10 years of SAP experience (preferred).
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
About the Team
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
