How to contribute to our vision

This role is a replacement to ensure business continuity within the Gas Services sales team for the Central China region. As a Specialist Professional (P4), this position is crucial for maintaining sales momentum and managing key technical accounts. To address this need, the role focuses on three core areas: leading the end-to-end technical sales process, managing and growing strategic customer relationships, and overseeing sales operations and forecasting. This structure ensures comprehensive coverage of the sales lifecycle, from initial customer engagement to long-term account development. Given the focus on complex technical solutions, the ideal candidate will be a recognized subject matter expert with extensive experience in technical sales within the energy sector. They will possess strong capabilities in relationship management, negotiation, and strategic planning, supported by a relevant university degree.

What You Need To Make a Difference

  • 50% Technical Sales & Solution Development
    • Lead the full sales cycle for complex gas services products and solutions, from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and closing.
    • Serve as the primary technical liaison between customers and internal engineering, manufacturing, and program management teams.
    • Prepare and conduct high-impact technical sales briefings and product demonstrations for diverse customer stakeholders.
    • Develop comprehensive sales proposals, including technical specifications, pricing models, and contract requirements, for large-scale projects.
  • 30% Strategic Account & Relationship Management
    • Develop and execute long-term sales plans and strategies to protect, grow, and diversify relationships with key customers in the assigned territory.
    • Manage and cultivate a portfolio of strategic accounts, identifying new applications, and up-sell or cross-sell opportunities.
    • Monitor customer activities, competitor movements, and industry trends to provide insights and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
  • 20% Sales Operations & Mentorship
    • Prepare and maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and customer data using the company's CRM system.
    • Coach, review, and delegate work to lower-level professionals, providing expert guidance on complex technical and commercial issues.
    • Investigate and recommend new applications or improvements to products based on customer feedback and market analysis.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Engineering) or Business Administration.
  • Extensive experience (typically 8+ years) in technical sales, preferably within the energy, power generation, or industrial equipment sector.
  • Proven track record as a subject matter expert managing large, complex sales cycles with limited oversight.
