A Snapshot of Your Day
This role will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations related to fixed asset, leased assets and CAPEX accounting activities.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead the regional Accounting Services Fixed Assets team and partner with the global process owner/competence center to provide accurate books and records and comply with global processes/standards.
- Act as a competent contact person for various inquiries relating to your area of responsibility and advise your team on (fixed asset) accounting issues.
- Review and manage comprehensive fixed assets activities.
- Maintain and consult (local) Fixed Asset policies.
- Coordinate closely with other departments, countries, regions.
- Implement and execute new accounting regulations and internal controls – with focus on Fixed Assets.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
- 10+ plus years of experience in operational accounting, specifically in fixed asset accounting (e.g. IFRS and GAAP accounting).
- 3 to 5 years of finance leadership experience, with proven success in leading teams through change management processes.
- Entrepreneurial approach and eager to drive transformation.
- People oriented and committed to drive the personal growth of the team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with strong passion for organization, process improvement and structure.
