A Snapshot of Your Day 

As a Fixed Assets Analyst, you will be responsible for managing daily fixed asset transactions and month-end closing activities, ensuring compliance with IFRS, local GAAP, and other relevant regulations. Your role involves analyzing errors, resolving accounting issues, initiating necessary corrections, and contributing to process improvements with support from the Fixed Assets Senior Analyst. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including regional accounting hubs, local business teams, and global Siemens Energy communities. You are expected to actively listen to stakeholder needs, handle complex operational challenges, and share best practices to promote efficiency and quality in processes.

How You’ll Make an Impact 

  • Manage the full fixed assets lifecycle, including master data updates, capitalization, depreciation, intercompany/intracompany transfers, disposals, impairments, and assets under construction activities such as budget allocations, reporting, and ad-hoc requests.
  • Support internal controls and compliance by preparing audit documentation, addressing auditor queries, and ensuring accuracy and stability in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
  • Create internal orders/WBS elements for capital expenditure requests, extract inventory lists for stocktaking, and ensure correct processing according to policies and useful life guidelines.
  • Maintain and continuously update Desktop Procedure (DTP) documentation, while contributing to standardization, automation, and process improvement initiatives across fixed assets and cross-functional workflows.
  • Develop capabilities and career growth through continuous learning, feedback, and active participation in skill-building opportunities within the organization.
  • Foster strong stakeholder relationships and collaboration, demonstrating respect, agility, accountability, and innovation in supporting both local and global Siemens Energy communities.

What You Bring 

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, or equivalent experience in Fixed Assets Accounting.
  • Initial experience in Fixed Assets Accounting and Finance Operations, with basic accounting knowledge and preferably familiarity with IFRS.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, with a basic understanding of SAP business processes preferred.
  • Experience in transition and transformation projects is an advantage.
  • Open, communicative, and fluent in English, with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel for knowledge transfer, training, or workshops when required.
