A Snapshot of Your Day

As part of planned inspections on different types of turbines all over the world, you will be responsible for the I&C part, recommission this part and optimize the associated parameter set. You are the local contact person for your area and present Siemens Energy to the customer with regard to your area of expertise.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Carrying out inspections and recommissioning of the I&C components around the turbine both remotely and on site worldwide
• Independent implementation of preventive and corrective service measures for turbine-related control technology on site at the customer's premises
• Implementation of optimizing measures for the operation of the turbine during inspections and subsequent commissioning
• Incorporation of new, improved and revised logics into the control technology and their commissioning
• Analyzing the problems encountered during their assignments and rectifying them directly on site or remotely

What You Bring

• State-certified technician, bachelor or engineer in the field of electrical engineering, automation technology or mechanical engineering
• Ideally already basic knowledge of power plant automation systems
• Basic knowledge of power plant technology, automation technology and tube control technology
• Initial experience with gas and steam turbines and how they work desirable
• Fluent written and spoken English is mandatory, German as an additional language is desirable
