A Snapshot of your day
Your day involves delivering hands-on technical expertise for gas turbines and generators through on-site installation, maintenance, and repairs. You’ll collaborate with customers to resolve complex technical issues, enhancing equipment performance and building trusted relationships.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Perform installation, overhaul, and maintenance tasks on Siemens gas turbines, specializing in various service activities.
- Follow Field Service protocols to document disassembly, reassembly, test results, and ensure timely reporting in field reports.
- Conduct hands-on maintenance across all turbine components, including blading, combustion chambers, and burners.
- Ensure accurate documentation of service activities in compliance with Siemens Energy procedures.
- Collaborate directly with customers to deliver exceptional service and resolve technical issues effectively.
- Evaluate equipment conditions, implement corrective actions, and contribute to improving operational efficiency.
What You Bring
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or DAE with extensive experience; 2+ years in Field Service and 2–5 years in Combined Cycle Power Plant maintenance.
- Technical Skills: Hands-on expertise in breakdown maintenance, mechanical maintenance of power generation equipment or Oil & Gas, and leading small teams.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong ability to read technical drawings, interpret specifications, perform unit conversions, and adhere to international codes and standards.
- Assembly & Tooling: Proficient in assembly, disassembly, and handling hydraulic tightening equipment.
- Communication & Adaptability: Fluent in English (German is a plus), skilled in Microsoft Office, adaptable to shift rotations, extensive travel, and working in multinational teams or independently.
- HSE & Quality Commitment: Solid understanding of Health, Safety, Environment (HSE), and quality standards, with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
About the Team
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
