A Snapshot of your day
Your day includes inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning critical valve systems and high-pressure hydraulic control systems for gas turbines and steam turbines. You will support planned outages, commissioning activities, and emergency service assignments to ensure the safe, reliable, and precise operation of rotating equipment.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Inspect, dismantle, maintain, refurbish, and overhaul industrial and turbine-related valves, including control, stop, bypass, safety relief, fuel gas, and actuator-operated valves.
- Perform valve lapping, calibration, pressure testing, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and operational alignment.
- Maintain, repair, test, and commission high-pressure hydraulic systems, including pumps, accumulators, cylinders, actuators, manifolds, and control blocks.
- Execute hydraulic oil flushing, cleanliness verification, pressure testing, and operate specialized hydraulic tensioning and tightening equipment such as HYTORC and ITH.
- Interpret P&IDs, mechanical drawings, and hydraulic schematics to support maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities.
- Ensure compliance with EHS, FME, and lifting/rigging requirements while maintaining accurate service reports, maintenance records, and quality documentation.
What You Bring
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or Mechatronics Engineering.
- 3–5 years of Field Service experience within the power generation, oil & gas, manufacturing or heavy industrial sectors.
- Proven experience in valve inspection, overhaul, calibration, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of turbine hydraulic control systems, high-pressure hydraulic equipment, and fluid power applications.
- Demonstrated troubleshooting and analytical skills for complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electro-hydraulic systems.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with field teams and prepare technical documentation.
About the Team
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
