关于职务
Your day involves leading the disassembly of a turbine module by delegating tasks to the team, ensuring the correct and safe use of tools, and verifying measurements against engineering drawings, all while mentoring junior colleagues on proper procedures. Additionally, you document progress in the daily report, adhere to safety and quality protocols, and collaborate with the Senior Technical Advisor to ensure efficient execution of assigned work packages.
How You Will Make an Impact
- Plan and execute assigned parts of the turbine module disassembly/assembly on-site, as directed by the Senior Technical Advisor.
- Lead hands-on work for specific work packages by assigning tasks to team members, assisting the Technical Advisor, and ensuring tasks are executed correctly.
- Utilize strong hand skills and safely operate manual, hydraulic, and electrical tools as needed.
- Perform critical tasks requiring specialized expertise, such as taking precise measurements, completing measurement protocols, and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Mentor junior Technical Field Advisors (TFAs) by providing guidance on work tasks aligned with their development plans.
- Report on disassembly/assembly progress through daily reports or input for mechanical reports, following established guidelines, while adhering to EHS, safety, and quality procedures.
What You Bring
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
- Have 2-3 years of experience in the gas turbine or related engineering field, with expertise in maintenance and overhauls of gas turbines, steam turbines, compressors, or reciprocating engines being highly valued.
- Possess strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a customer-focused and self-motivated mindset.
- Demonstrate proficiency in English (both written and spoken) and Microsoft Office tools.
- Prioritize safety, quality of work, and alignment with Siemens Energy values.
- Be flexible and open to travel for domestic and international assignments as required.
About the Team
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
