A Snapshot of Your Day

We are seeking a screw compressor expert to help us craft the future of one of our heritage product lines. You will grow our Engineering expertise to support the Service Fleet of dry screw compressors at the SE facility in Houston. You will work together with our Service Center team in Houston and develop a roadmap for Engineering to grow this business area and to define and find the needed experts in this business.

This role will be part of the core compressor team will report into the product line owner within the Compression business. You will work full time in Pune. Travel is needed to fulfill this role.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Understand and analyze the different products of our dry screw compressor fleet and focus on areas of improvement.
  • Define roadmap to improve technical and service offerings that will support business growth of this fleet
  • Define business cases of individual growth fields.
  • Prioritize working packages based on roadmap and build temporary execution teams
  • Share your expertise and collaborate with the engineering team to define processes of execution that align with SE standards
  • Define and find engineering expertise that is needed and build an engineering team for execution
  • Align with Sales, Manufacturing, Procurement and Trouble Shooting teams

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) or higher in Mechanical, Industrial or similar Engineering field
  • 10+ years of experience in machinery design of screw compressors in both air and process gas applications
  • Machinery expertise of screw compressor, e. g. anti-friction bearings, sleeve bearings, seals, clearances, cooling
  • Experience in screw compressor calculations (performance & rotor dynamics & material selection)
  • Experience in design processes, from concept to final design
  • Experience in trouble shooting of dry screw compressors
