How to contribute to our vision
As an Enterprise Architect for Infrastructure, you will be a senior strategic leader responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the comprehensive infrastructure architecture for the entire organization. You will play a pivotal role in designing enterprise infrastructure architectures that span both Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) environments, enabling secure, reliable, and high-performance connectivity between enterprise systems, industrial assets, IoT platforms, and cloud services. The core of your responsibilities will involve creating and managing the enterprise infrastructure roadmap, from evaluating the current state ('as-is') to defining the target state ('to-be') architecture.
What You Need To Make a Difference
- 40% Architecture & Strategy
- Analyze industry trends, emerging technologies, and infrastructure best practices to continuously evolve the enterprise infrastructure architecture and create business value.
- Define and communicate the target Infrastructure Architecture vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives, digital transformation initiatives, and enterprise architecture principles.
- Develop and maintain the Infrastructure Transformation Roadmap, assessing current-state capabilities and defining future-state architectures across cloud, data center, network, workplace, and edge environments.
- Shape the enterprise strategy for: Cloud Platforms (Azure, AWS) Data Centers and Hosting Compute and Storage Networks and Connectivity End User Computing and Workplace Services Infrastructure Automation Platform Engineering Observability and Monitoring Backup, Recovery, and Business Continuity
- Define architecture requirements for infrastructure services supporting Data, AI, Engineering, PLM, ALM, IoT, Digital Twin, and OT workloads.
- 40% Digital Transformation
- Establish enterprise-wide infrastructure architecture principles, standards, reference architectures, design patterns, and technology guardrails.
- Drive the modernization and simplification of infrastructure platforms, reducing complexity, technical debt, and operational risk while improving scalability and performance.
- Lead architecture assessments and evaluate infrastructure solutions, balancing business requirements, operational resilience, security, performance, sustainability, and cost optimization.
- Define the target operating model for cloud and hybrid infrastructure services, enabling self-service, automation, standardization, and platform-based delivery.
- Ensure infrastructure platforms are resilient, scalable, sustainable, and capable of supporting current and future business demands.
- 20% Collaboration & Leadership
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Solution Architects, Security Architects, Platform Teams, and IT Operations to ensure alignment between business requirements and infrastructure capabilities.
- Contribute to technology portfolio management, lifecycle planning, investment prioritization, and vendor strategy decisions.
- Mentor architects and technology leaders while promoting infrastructure architecture best practices and knowledge sharing across the organization.
Certifications
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- TOGAF
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA) or Cisco CCNP Enterprise or Cisco CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure
- ITIL 4 Managing Professional or Strategic Leader
- Kubernetes (CKA)
- Terraform Associate
- FinOps Practitioner
Education
- 10+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure Architecture, Cloud Architecture, Platform Architecture, or related IT leadership roles.
- Proven experience designing and governing large-scale enterprise infrastructure environments in global organizations.
- Experience leading infrastructure modernization, cloud transformation, data center transformation, or platform engineering initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience aligning infrastructure investments with business objectives and enterprise architecture strategies.
- Strong background in infrastructure strategy, technology roadmaps, architecture governance, and operating model transformation.
