A Snapshot of Your Day 

As an innovative company, we are constantly looking for new innovations and technologies that we can either integrate directly into our products or use for their manufacture. To this end, you will carry out technology comparisons, evaluate innovations and derive an action plan for the steam turbine + generator business (STG) with focus on manufacturing technology, additive manufacturing and robotic. Cooperation with research partners and external companies is a central field of work. For STG, you will be responsible for targeted technology development, strategic orientation, and collaboration with national and international research partners.

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Technical and commercial evaluation of advanced manufacturing technologies for STG-manufacturing sites with focus on Additive Manufacturing and Welding Technologies
  • Screening and evaluation of new manufacturing technologies as well as robotics & automation
  • Set up actions for the technological development of the entire STG-manufacturing network
  • Initiation and project management of technology development projects
  • Cooperation with national/international research partners
  • Interdisciplinary cooperation with all STG locations in the introduction of new technologies
What You Bring
  • Very good knowledge in the field of project management and corresponding to several years of experience in interdisciplinary research and development projects
  • Very good experience in the field of manufacturing technology incl. additive manufacturing and robotics
  • Deep knowledge in materials and welding technology
  • Very good communication skills
  • Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
  • Passion for innovation and technology development
