A Snapshot of Your Day
As an Electrical Technician, you will support the reliable operation of power plant systems by performing hands-on maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment. Your role focuses on executing maintenance activities, collecting data, and ensuring plant systems meet operational and safety standards.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Electrical & Control Systems Maintenance (~60%)
- Execute routine preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment and control systems
- Assist in troubleshooting electrical and control system issues under supervision
- Support installation, testing, and basic commissioning activities for electrical components
- Collect and record inspection and test data for review by Engineers or Senior Technicians
Operational Support & Compliance (~40%)
- Support monitoring of control panels and system performance under guidance
- Perform basic equipment inspections to identify potential issues
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, service reports, and inspection logs
- Follow all safety procedures and work instructions to ensure compliance and safe operations
What You Bring
- Diploma, vocational training, or junior-level degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Technology
- Around 1–3 years of hands-on experience in electrical maintenance (power plant or heavy industry preferred)
- Basic understanding of:
- Electrical systems and equipment (switchgear, transformers, generators)
- Control systems and instrumentation (basic level)
- Preventive and corrective maintenance processes
- Ability to follow defined troubleshooting procedures and escalate complex issues
- Strong attention to detail in documentation and task execution
- Commitment to safety standards and willingness to learn

Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
