A Snapshot of Your Day
Join a newly created role that strengthens business continuity by advancing digitalization at our Worcester Additive Manufacturing (AM) production site. You’ll translate global digitalization strategy into a practical site roadmap, then lead projects from scope to launch—balancing budget, schedule, and quality targets. You’ll be the key link between Worcester and global headquarters, working closely with site management, engineering teams, and central technology functions. Along the way, you’ll build lasting local capability in critical shopfloor technologies like MES and SCADA, helping the team deliver smarter, more connected manufacturing.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- You will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of digitalization projects at the Worcester AM site, aligned with budget, schedule, and quality targets.
- You will build and execute a digitalization roadmap that prioritizes business drivers such as production ramp-up and cost savings.
- You will define project scope, deliverables, and success metrics with site management, engineering teams, and central technology functions.
- You will monitor and report project status, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders and senior leadership.
- You will lead technical implementation of shopfloor systems, establishing MES and SCADA capabilities and ensuring smooth integration with manufacturing equipment and processes.
How to Contribute to Our Vision
- You will help ensure business continuity by advancing digitalization across the Additive Manufacturing (AM) division at the Worcester production site.
- You will connect local execution with global digitalization strategies by acting as the primary liaison between Worcester and global headquarters.
- You will strengthen long-term performance by building local competencies in shopfloor applications, especially MES and SCADA.
- You will drive practical change in a complex production setting by identifying workflow opportunities for digitalization, automation, and process improvement.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial), Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Significant professional experience in project management within a manufacturing or industrial engineering environment.
- Proven experience leading digitalization or process improvement projects, including implementation of shopfloor IT systems such as MES and/or SCADA.
- Experience in Additive Manufacturing is highly desirable.
- Strong skills in stakeholder management, influencing, analytical thinking, and troubleshooting (problem solving).
About the Team
You’ll join the Worcester Additive Manufacturing site in a role created to advance digitalization and protect business continuity for the AM division. The team’s work connects local production needs with global digitalization strategies, with you serving as the primary liaison to global headquarters. This position spans two core areas: strategic leadership of digitalization projects and hands-on implementation of key shopfloor systems. You’ll partner closely with site management, AM engineers, production staff, and central technology functions to deliver solutions that fit the reality of a complex manufacturing environment. A major part of the mission is building new organizational competencies locally—especially around MES and SCADA—so improvements are adopted, supported, and sustained.
