A Snapshot of Your Day
You will develop the strategic approach on digitizing our global Additive Manufacturing Network and subsequently work with your team on the execution of relevant projects with RnD and non-RnD scope. Finally, a close collaboration between your team and the different receiving organizations, such as AM Manufacturing, AM Engineering, AM Design will ensure the respective roll out and implementation of new digital solutions.
Besides the technical aspects you will manage a global team of highly skilled individuals and ensure that your team has proper boundary conditions to work effectively. Moreover, you will take care on people development and drive transformation where required. In addition, you will ensure seamless communication to stakeholders within and outside of our global AM team.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Strategic approach for global Additive Manufacturing (AM) network digitalization
- Lead a small team of digitalization and additive manufacturing experts
- Global AM printer fleet monitoring and real-time diagnostics implementation
- Development of digital fingerprints for AM components and processes
- Automation of digital workflows and post-processing in AM production
- Regular team check-ins and expert consultations for workforce development
- Establishment of development plans to enhance team capabilities
- Building and maintaining a robust internal and external stakeholder network
- Identification and leveraging of funding opportunities for digitalization projects
What You Bring
- A degree in engineering, data science, information technologies, or a related field
- Long-term experience in manufacturing related digitalization and/or sound understanding of specific AM requirements with respect to digitalization
- Excellent leadership skills
- High capacity to prioritize scope against business demands
- Excellent communication and networking skills
- Ability to lead people and coordinate interdisciplinary teams
- Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken
About the Team
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
