A Snapshot of Your Day 

As a Development Engineer (m/f/d) for electrical components in the field of high-voltage switchgear, you will be part of a top-tier team that transforms our customers' needs into innovative products. A typical day includes shaping the development process from the initial sketch to the finished product, conducting development and type tests, and handing over the final product to our manufacturing sites. You will work in an international project environment and contribute to the development of solutions in controlled switching and arrester monitoring.

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Develop and realize new digital converters, controls, and monitoring systems.
  • Conduct product research and integrate findings into your own concepts, considering cost and performance.
  • Develop interface concepts for the assessment and approval of third-party applications.
  • Analyze and optimize complex real-time software systems in collaboration with external partners.
  • Conceptualize and evaluate embedded systems in line with current cybersecurity requirements.
  • Develop test systems to ensure software quality (CI/CD) and conduct cybersecurity tests.
What You Bring
  • Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Technical Computer Science, or a comparable field.
  • Several years of professional experience in a relevant area.
  • Strong analytical skills, quick comprehension, teamwork, result and customer orientation, and a self-reliant working style.
  • Knowledge of automation-specific software (e.g., Matlab/Simulink, C, VHDL, C++, CAN, Python).
  • Familiarity with common transmission protocols (e.g., Modbus, I²C, SPI, IEEE 802.15.4, LoRa) is an advantage.
  • Excellent English skills (fluent) and good German skills in both spoken and written form.
