A Snapshot of Your Day

The Decarbonization Portfolio Regional Product Development Manager (RPDM) will be responsible to collaborate with end customers and industries to promote, develop and deliver Modernizations and Upgrades on our Gas Turbine portfolio that result in Decarbonization via Performance/ Efficiency Improvements, Optimized Operation or Fuel Flexibility.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Responsible for strategic development of BEX/ Mods&Ups /Decarb and Digital solutions within Asia Pacific Gas Services Distributed Sales
  • Developing and leading BEX decarb opportunities from initial concept to closed won with specific emphasis on front-end techno-commercial development and qualification of opportunities
  • Grow qualified Sales Funnel and meet Sales target in region Asia for BEX decarb opportunities – progress opportunities through the funnel by driving evaluation
  • Grow qualifies Sales Funnel/ validate prospects for major/ focus Mods & Ups campaigns for respective trains
  • Develop close relationships with PCCs and RE client teams to effectively drive timely approach and development of opportunities in the existing OEM and OEM fleet
  • Prepare/ adapt formal bids and proposals as required with a proactive role in defining target price and customer value
  • Project manage orders in coordination with other involved departments / PL locations responsible for the unit
  • Incorporates Miller Heiman Strategic Selling Strategies/ Consultative sales approach in all sales activities
  • Develop strategic relationship and collaboration (internal) within region across Siemens Energy and (external) with customers as well as adjacent companies to embed solutions into every stage of the value chain to deliver and scale up BEX and integrated decarbonization activities

What You Bring

  • University degree qualified in engineering and/or business discipline, or with similar experience
  • Experience from developing and driving complex international sales projects from lead generation to solution development and guiding techno-commercial evaluation.
  • Strong experience with direct customer interaction, lead generation, opportunity development and closing, independently and together with relevant client facing/ expert teams
  • Preferably with a deep knowledge of the sales and delivery processes across the service landscape and cooperation with new unit business
  • Proven consultative selling expertise, with curiosity to understand and drive conversations around customer priorities and mobilize the organization to find a suitable solution
  • Deep market and business knowledge, competent in market analysis, competition analysis, risk analysis, life cycle cost analysis and communications
  • Strong understanding of climate change, carbon policy developments (ability to monetize CO2 for end users), energy markets, energy savings, sustainability challenges and drivers for decarbonization
  • Strong product knowledge on Gas Turbines, its associated equipments and also decarbonisation solutions – value chain solutions, every stage to deliver trusted, net zero emissions
  • Innovative with ability to work with complex data sets and models and drive clear, concise outcomes.
  • Good communication and presentation skills

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
