- Engage with data domain, business process, and software architecture communities to understand mission-critical business needs and emerging issues, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Support and enable data domain managers and data stewards in conceptualizing projects and initiating activities to harmonize data through the implementation of data governance processes.
- Plan projects effectively, including resource estimates, timelines, and deliverables, to ensure successful execution and alignment with business objectives.
- Assist stakeholders in creating business cases for new investments in data governance and excellence programs by identifying and quantifying potential impacts, such as cost savings and productivity gains.
- Identify risks, leverage relationships, and develop creative solutions to remove barriers to achieving project objectives, while enabling the materialization of the data excellence framework.
- Define and implement relevant data quality management principles and policies, model best practices by communicating success stories about data excellence initiatives and collaborate with other data domains to maximize reusability and business impact from new projects.
- Possess a bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Business Management, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Long term experience across three or more business disciplines, such as finance, sales, engineering, project management, procurement, manufacturing, quality, and information technology.
- Demonstrate expertise in multiple enterprise-scale software systems, including ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle), CRM (e.g., Salesforce), data catalog/integration platforms (e.g., Collibra, Informatica), and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Planview, Microsoft Project).
- Passionate about digitalization and transformation programs, with a commitment to continuously enhancing skills in data and analytics.
- Recognized as a thought leader and natural bridge-builder, with a strong track record of managing change across diverse stakeholders in a global environment.
- Knowledgeable about the entire energy value chain, with a strong passion for decarbonizing the world’s energy supply, excellent communication and presentation skills in English, and an agile mindset focused on delivering minimum viable products (MVP) quickly and iterating rapidly. German skills will be an asset.
