A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Data Catalog Product Owner at Siemens Energy, your day will be focused on maximizing the value of the SE Data Catalog by aligning the DevOps team backlog with the needs of users across data governance, data engineering, and enterprise architecture. You will establish key relationships with stakeholders, manage and prioritize the backlog, and ensure that user feedback is integrated into the development process. Your role will be pivotal in communicating the vision and roadmap of the Data Catalog to user groups and senior management, contributing to the overall success of data management initiatives.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Establish and manage relationships with the DevOps team and data governance communities.
- Prioritize and manage the DevOps team backlog, supporting testing and deployment of new iterations.
- Collect user stories and feedback to qualify and quantify the benefits of new solutions.
- Communicate the vision and roadmap of the SE Data Catalog to user groups and senior management.
- Contribute to the transformation and decarbonization of energy generation through effective data management.
- Ensure alignment of the Data Catalog with the needs of various stakeholder communities.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of DevOps experience with the Collibra Data Intelligence Platform or similar products.
- 3+ years of experience supporting a federated data governance framework in a multinational corporation.
- 5+ years of experience in Sprint-based software DevOps using Atlassian Jira or a comparable solution.
- 2+ years of experience designing templates and maintaining user stories in Atlassian Confluence or an equivalent workspace.
- 2+ years of experience managing application software in ServiceNow or comparable portfolio management software.
- Fluency in spoken and written English, with a strong motivation to contribute to global energy transformation and decarbonization.
