Join us as an Expert in Control Systems, where your expertise will be pivotal in enhancing the control and protection of converter systems and process technology in our hydrogen production plants. Imagine collaborating with diverse engineering teams, gathering invaluable insights during plant commissioning, and reintegrating that experience to refine our control systems. Your innovative ideas will not just be discussed; they will be implemented globally, driving the digitalization of our processes and contributing to a sustainable future.

 

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Play a key role in the development team for hydrogen production plants, focusing on automation solutions.
  • Independently design, implement, and test automation solutions, creating modular and parameterize reference concepts with support from internal and external partners.
  • Provide essential support during the commissioning of hydrogen production plants, including supervising local staff.
  • Collaborate with other engineering fields on electrical design, HAZOP, and safety analysis to ensure comprehensive project execution.
  • Conduct customer training sessions to empower users and enhance operational efficiency.
 

What You Bring

  • A Master’s degree or equivalent experience in electrical or automation engineering or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in open/closed loop control and protection of converter systems and process plants.
  • Proficiency with automation and simulation systems/tools such as PCS7, Simatic S7, SIMIT, and COMOS.
  • Knowledge in programming safety-related controls, ideally certified as a functional safety engineer.
  • A solid understanding of distributed control systems, network technology, and cyber security, along with experience in commissioning electrical and process plants.
  • Comfortable in a flexible, agile start-up environment, demonstrating personal responsibility and initiative.
  • Fluent in English, with intercultural sensitivity and a willingness to travel; knowledge of German is a plus.
