Join a dynamic team of Contract Managers and Legal Counsels, shaping the energy landscape of tomorrow! In this role, you will support Siemens Energy’s Grid Technologies and its project business by navigating complex contractual matters. You will analyze contracts, identify risks, negotiate agreements, and provide valuable advice to project and site management on large-scale projects. As an advisor to project leadership and senior management, you will ensure consistent adherence to Siemens Energy’s contract and claims strategies throughout project execution. You will proactively identify and develop contractual entitlements and claims, exercising independent judgment on risk and dispute positioning, while serving as a key escalation point for complex contractual issues.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Provide expert advice and support for customer contracts, consortium agreements, and sub-contracts to safeguard Siemens Energy’s rights and entitlements.
• Assist in contractual and commercial matters, including change order processes and the review and drafting of relevant correspondence.
• Identify all relevant technical, commercial, and contractual aspects to support the development of project-specific claim strategies.
• Contribute to pursuing and defending claims by collecting and advising on relevant project records, documentation, and pertinent facts.
• Collaborate with legal teams to substantiate relevant facts for claiming quantum, extension of time, and establishing factual defenses in arbitration proceedings.

What You Bring

• 1-5 years of proven experience in handling complex contracts while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• A self-driven individual with the ability to formulate logical and pragmatic approaches, making effective recommendations to address complex issues.
• Strong negotiation skills, capable of supporting a matrixed negotiating team.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements, schedules, and priorities.
• Excellent verbal communication and writing skills, with a demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely with stakeholders at all levels.
• Language level (B2/C1) in Spanish and English.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Education:
A legal degree is preferred; however, technical or commercial experts with an academic degree and several years of project execution or contract management experience may also qualify.
