A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Contract Manager you will support commercial contracts for the sale of services and equipment for Siemens Energy’s Transformation of Industry and Distributed Generation businesses, throughout the Americas. The selected individual will perform a full range of contractual services during the entire contractual life cycle.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Draft, review, analyze, modify, negotiate contracts and contract modifications.
  • Contractual risk analysis. 
  • Performing as a member of a multi-disciplined negotiation team. 
  • Supporting internal contractual reviews and management approvals. 
  • Conducting trainings for business partners. 
  • Contracts support for matters in execution, including changes and the resolution of disputes. 

What You Bring 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering.
  • Advanced degree in business or law preferred, but not required. 
  • At least 5+ years of experience within the field. 
  • Demonstrated success of handling complex matters. 
  • Demonstrated claims management. 
  • Strong negotiations skills with the ability to support a matrixed negotiating team.
  • Flexibility to adjust to changing requirements, schedules, and priorities.
  • Self-driven and resourceful, with pragmatic problem solving. 
  • Excellent verbal communication and writing skills. 
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Fluent and written English and Spanish are required.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
