This role offers a fixed term contract (24 months).

A Snapshot of Your Day 

As a Buyer (f/m/d), you will play a crucial role in supporting the cost-effective sourcing of materials and services in alignment with company processes and customer requirements. Your typical day will involve executing procurement activities that ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery. You will serve as a reliable, service-oriented procurement interface for various teams, including Order Winning, Operations, Project Management, Engineering, and Finance.

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Execute sourcing and purchasing activities to support cost competitiveness and reliable supply
  • Support supplier negotiations and contract execution in alignment with established frameworks and guidelines
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance of purchase orders, contracts, and procurement documentation
  • Monitor supplier performance regarding delivery, quality, and cost adherence
  • Collaborate with engineering, project management, operations, and finance to meet project requirements
  • Identify supply risks, escalate issues, and support mitigation actions as needed
What You Bring
  • University degree in supply chain, business, or a related field
  • Several years of experience in procurement of engineered products/services in a project environment
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, stakeholder management skills and good understanding of contract terms
  • Customer-focused, collaborative team player with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office tools
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English; proficiency in German is an advantage
