A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Business Controller for Gas Services Distributed Global Service Operations, you act as a trusted finance business partner to operational management. You actively steer financial performance, provide transparency, and support decision‑making across a globally distributed service organization.

Working closely with the Distributed Service business partner, the Execution Unit Business Controlling team, and colleagues across regions worldwide, you transform financial and operational data into actionable insights that drive sustainable business performance.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Act as a close finance partner to operational management within Distributed Global Service Operations
• Guide and optimize financial performance, including planning, forecasting, and performance steering
• Independently develop and deliver decision ready management presentations to support ad hoc requests and recurring management forums (e.g. Monthly Operational Reviews)
• Collaborate closely with Execution Unit controlling teams and regional finance colleagues globally
• Drive process improvements, standardization, and digitalization of controlling workflows
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the further development of controlling standards

What You Bring

• University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance/Accounting, or a related field, combined with at least 3 years of relevant professional experience, ideally within the Gas Services environment
• High proficiency in digital tools, with a strong interest in process optimization and continuous improvement
• Advanced analytical capabilities, with the ability to interpret, structure, and clearly visualize complex financial data for diverse internal stakeholders
• Strong understanding of business operations and their financial impact, with the ability to independently prepare accurate facts and figures for management decision making
• High intercultural awareness and proven ability to collaborate effectively across countries, cultures, and time zones
• Advanced English skills suitable for a global, international working environment
• Collaborative, dynamic, and results oriented mindset, combined with strong communication and networking skills

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
