A Snapshot of Your Day
Siemens Energy is transforming its HR systems landscape, moving towards greater independence and standardization. A key step in this journey is establishing and maintaining a contract templates and clause library - known internally as the Employment Condition Library (ECL) - which stores the rules, clauses and templates used for employment contracts across our global workforce. We are seeking a hands‑on specialist to take responsibility for this library. You will maintain and organize the content, ensure high‑quality and compliance, and act as a functional consultant for colleagues in HR and IT. This role focuses on curating content, configuring rules and supporting users.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Identify and map the content of employment documentation to the technical components of the employment conditions technology solution.
- Create and maintain employment clauses and templates within the Employment Conditions Library, ensuring alignment with system and business requirements.
- Process updates to clauses and templates resulting from legislative changes, business needs, or continuous improvement initiatives. Coordinate the review and approval process to ensure timely completion.
- Maintain and update data attributes used in employment documentation within the technology solution and system data catalogue.
- Adjust rules, variables, and conditional logic within the system to ensure accurate and compliant contract generation.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks on templates and generated contracts to ensure proper layout, accuracy, and compliance. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to correct any identified issues.
- User Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for HR colleagues using the system. Provide guidance, explain rules, and maintain a repository of FAQs for reference.
- Monitor system performance, identify issues, and collaborate with the application team to implement enhancements and fixes. Provide input for system development to improve efficiency and usability.
- User Acceptance Testing: Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) for new system functionalities during development cycles to ensure they meet business requirements.
- Documentation Management: Keep operational documentation up to date to reflect system changes, process improvements, and evolving ways of working.
What You Bring
- Experience with HR systems or document/contract management tools. Good understanding of how IT systems work. Data driven.
- Strong attention to detail and quality; comfortable testing and reviewing contract outputs.
- Able to work independently on assigned tasks, take ownership, while escalating issues when needed.
- Able to communicate effectively with HR colleagues to explain system behavior, provide guidance, and coordinate updates as needed.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including knowledge of formulas (e.g., VLOOKUP, IF statements, etc.), data analysis tools (e.g., PivotTables), and the ability to apply logical problem-solving using Excel's key functionalities.
- Solid understanding of logical operators and formula syntax, with the ability to create, analyze, and troubleshoot complex business rules for accurate data processing.
- Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.
